Does insurance cover acupuncture?
Many companies now cover acupuncture. Some cover acupuncture treatments and charge a copay, while others offer a discount program, giving the patient a discounted fee for services.
How do I know if I am covered?
You may ask the Human Resources representative at your place of employment, check your health plan, or feel free to call our office or fill out our "Confidential Insurance Coverage Request" form, and we will gladly check for you. If your employer has opted for acupuncture coverage, then you may be covered.
What Kinds of Insurance Cover Acupuncture?
- Health Insurance: Many health insurance companies now cover acupuncture, depending upon whether an employer has selected a policy which covers acupuncture. Please ask your HR Department, give us a call, or fill out our "Confidential Insurance Coverage Request" form and we can verify your insurance
- Auto Insurance: If you have an auto accident, many auto insurance policies will cover your treatment. Please give us a call and we can find out for you.
- Workers Compensation: Acupuncture can be covered in many Workers' Comp injury cases
